The Merchant Maverick Opportunity Grants Program is awarding 10 grants of $10,000 each to AAPI owned restaurants, food carts, kiosks, grocery stores, bakeries, cafes, and other foodservice businesses. See: https://www.merchantmaverick.com/grant-application-page/. NOTE: The 2022 grant application has now closed. Please check periodically for future Merchant Maverick grant opportunities.
    2. The Board of Supervisors approved funding to provide 100 grants in the amount of $5,000 each to businesses who have not received a grant from the county in the last 12 months. See: https://www.smcstrong.org/apply-for-funding. NOTE: Applications will continue to be accepted until all funds are awarded.
    3. The Inclusive Backing Program is awarding more than 250 grants of $5,000 each in four cycles over 12 months to small business owners in older or historic commercial districts. See: https://www.mainstreet.org/howwecanhelp/inclusivebacking. NOTE: Applications for the third grant cycle are now closed. Please check back for updates on the fourth cycle in June.

А loan program to support California’s small businesses — especially those located in economically disadvantaged and historically under-banked areas of the state. Businesses who employed 50 or less full-time equivalent employees (FTEs) and had gross revenues of less than $2.5 million or below in 2019 are eligible to apply.
