    1. Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in partnership with the Contra Costa CDBG has started a Contra Costa County Micro-Enterprise Relief Fund offering grants to Contra Costa County micro-businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants from $1,000 to $10,000 are available to cover costs such as COVID-19 precaution supplies (PPE), safety remodeling (plexiglass, spacing tape, construction labor), façade improvements and signage, online platform fees and social media marketing to further online sale, commercial rents, employee salaries, and other operating costs. This program is for businesses registered, in good standing with, and operating in Contra Costa County cities except for Walnut Creek, Concord, Pittsburg, and Antioch.     2. The KIVA Richmond Entrepreneur Start-Up Fund provides up to $1,500 matching small business loans to Richmond start-up businesses. Loans are provided through the KIVA platform. See: https://www.kiva.org/.
    3. The City of Richmond’s Revolving Loan Fund provides loans from $5,000 to $100,000. See: https://www.ci.richmond.ca.us/2768/Revolving-Loan-Fund. To qualify, businesses must be located in the City of Richmond or plan to relocate to the City of Richmond or provide services or hire residents within the City of Richmond.
    4. The Chabot – Las Positas Community College District has established the Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant Program.  This program provides grants of $2,500 on a first come, first serve basis to microbusinesses that have been in operation since 2019 and were impacted by the COVID-19 public health restrictions.
