  2. Financial resources:
    1. The Community Foundation for Monterey County established the COVID-19 Relief Fund in partnership with Monterey Peninsula Foundation. The grants are expected to range between $5,000 and $30,000 and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and public agencies are eligible to apply for additional funds as needs arise.     2. Monterey County Workforce Development Board has designated $47,000 of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Rapid Response Layoff Aversion Funds to support small business employers facing financial impacts and potential layoffs from COVID-19. Businesses are eligible for total grant of $1,500 or $2,500 based on the number of employees. Apply today to the California Rebuilding Fund

А loan program to support California’s small businesses — especially those located in economically disadvantaged and historically under-banked areas of the state. Businesses who employed 50 or less full-time equivalent employees (FTEs) and had gross revenues of less than $2.5 million or below in 2019 are eligible to apply.
